Example of Needs
CleaningLaundry is an ongoing need as the kitties shed a lot. Cats are quite particular of cleanliness, so cleaning their beds, potentially soiled towels, and toys they spend their time throwing around. Until we move into a more community focused space, these are the only cleaning needs and would require someone who would be able to come pick up the laundry and take them to be cleaned, then returned.
LegalProviding legal support, this is an immediate need. We need assistance with our adoption contract specifically, but review of our other legal documentation would be greatly appreciated as well!
FundraisingHosting fundraisers on our behalf would be extremely helpful, as our capacity is very limited at this time. Currently, all expenses are paid out of Mai’s pocket, which is limited following her layoff. Please reach out before hosting any fundraisers, thank you!
Social SciencesProjects that can improve the empowerment and success of the returning citizens in our program. This can include ways to engage the community as we are also trying to change public perception about reentry.
Art & DesignDrawing our kitties for our promotional uses and/or additional income through merchandise items such as stickers or apparel. If you would like to host a craft night for a community event, please let us know your idea as well!
OtherThought of something not listed here? Please let us know! Please be aware that we are a small organization and may not currently have the capacity to take part in your idea, even if it aligns with our organization’s mission.
