Iguro 伊黒
Iguro is a beautiful, elegant, pure white Turkish Angora with heterochromia, meaning her eyes are two different colors. Incredibly sweet, she was mistreated by her first household and therefore has trauma with children. Her second owner cared for her very much but decided to have children and didn’t want to put her through more anxiety and decided to rehome her to us. With time, her timidness and anxiety has improved remarkably but she is still shy at first.
Requires going to a professional groomer or veterinarian for nail cutting nails. She is quite sensitive about this.
Requires brushing at least every other day. This is typical of her breed, and going to a nice groomer once a year isn’t a bad idea if possible.
Due to abuse from her first household, Iguro is scared of children. No exceptions.
Iguro has not liked dogs so far, but we have only seen her interact with large ones.
Prefers no other kitties as white kitties get bullied, but might be okay with other timid and light shaded kitties. She currently lives with all the other kitties, but gets bullied by the Triplets. She does fine with the lighter shaded kitties and is standing up to the bullying with time and encouragement from Mai.
Loves play bite, she will often come jump in your lap randomly and ask for rubs.
You can carry her, especially if you massage the base of her ears while you do!
Loves to look out the window while sitting on a sturdy cat tree, like a Mau one.
Does not love going outside if not necessary, but is behaved in a backpack.
Be cautious about thin plastic, such as plastic bags as she likes to the sound of it and will lick and lightly chew or bite them.
