We are building a program that employs people returning from incarceration to help prepare rescued cats for life in highly urbanized areas like Oakland and the greater Bay Area.
While the article about the Bay Area being overrun with cats came out in July 2025, we still have an over population issue!
During covid, and still today, we often see many posts online of people trying to rehome their cats due to a move to an apartment or that they worry they won’t give them enough attention returning to office.
